Reduced Error Rates:

We have shown color cross-talk 100% error free on up to 8 colors on a shift with some GMR equipment! Our marker colors and fluorescence intensity are calibrated to optimize any scanning equipment. RDT will help reduce error rates even further! We will use our proprietary color reading analysis software and work with you to identify and correct causes of reader errors.

Longer Lasting Markers, Brighter Marks and Greater Choice of Colors:

Our high quality lumber markers come in 34 distinct, non-fading colors. We pack plenty of fluorescent material into every marker in order to guarantee that each will provide consistent, bright, high quality fluorescent markings. The markers cover all the colors of the rainbow (and some more). They exhibit true color definition by design.

Twenty eight of the markers in our standard range of markers are shown above. They are listed in order from left (1) to right (28) in the the table below. Passing the mouse over the photograph will show the colours as they appear under a conventional black light. Not shown are #602 Azalea Pink, #1055 Tropical Orange, #1056 Teak Brown, #1057 Firebrick Red, #1058 Neon Green, and #1046 Mint Green (See RDT's News Page). We can provide custom brightnesses and colors to customers with particular needs. We supply industry-standard high-quality marker holders too.

Reduced Breakage:

Our durable, hand-poured, pressure molded markers use a super strong 5/8" and 7/8" octagonal design. Hand poured, pressure molding makes Foxfire Lumber Markers stronger and not brittle and breakable like extruded markers can be. The process also eliminates the problem of air bubbles suffered by some non-pressure molded markers.

Available for Different Climates and Temperatures:

Our markers are available in all hardnesses from hard to super-soft. Mills often run "medium" hardness markers during the summer and "medium soft" or "soft" during the winter. We can customize fluorescence and texture hardness to suit your requirements and have done so for other satisfied customers. We offer the latest in lumber marker technology and the best, personalized customer support available.

Safe to Use: Some fluorescent materials have been linked to cancer and others may contain heavy metals. All FoxFire Lumber Markers are made from safe color materials and are free from known carcinogenic materials. MSDS (Materials Safety Data Sheets) are available for each and every color, upon customer request.
